About

The Las Virgenes Scouting Alumni Association (LVSAA) was established in 2016 by a group of Boy Scout alumni parents. It is a tax-exempt, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission focused on supporting scouting activities within Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. The association aims to charter scouting units in line with its criteria and the policies of the two national scouting organizations, the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of the USA. Additionally, it works to enhance youth character development and promote community service among scouting units.

The association was officially incorporated on December 30, 2016, in the state of California. The LVSAA operates with a structure of directors and officers including a president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, and chartered organization representative, along with committee chairs for membership and the Eagle Fund. It also lists a comprehensive roster of founding members and additional board members, indicating a strong community and administrative foundation supporting its objectives.
